Hi just looking at the moment, but I have a new set of farsport wheels running shimano 11speed. I am looking at maybe swapping my bike. The new one would have 2x12 sram, would I just need a new cassette for my current wheels? DT240 hubs of the makes a difference if not is it an easy change and what would I need?
Thanks

Or use a shimano 12speed cassette. That should work as well.

Finally sorted my new bike a Supersix with force AXS. If I want to swap my wheels over can I use any xdr hub or should a get a set Swiss to match my hub?

Needs to be the correct XDR freehub to match your DT Swiss 240s. This might be the correct part, but you should double check.

I thought SRAM 12 speed was backwards compatible with 11 speed hubs? Is this not the case?

No, that's Shimano. AXS with its 10-cog uses XDR freehubs, which are a totally different design from Shimano's HG hubs.

Sorry for the hijack!

But if I have a 350 hub with shimano 11 speed currently but want to use it with a SRAM 12 speed I would need to purchase one of these:

https://www.bike-discount.de/en/dt-swis ... eehub-body

Is that correct?

Thanks I think that should be right it's 12x142 and I have the 240exp which is the ratchet system. Those links are both the same part aren't they?
