How's the Red AXS FD shifting with the Buzz 50/34?

I've got a bike coming with a 1x Red AXS power meter. are there any aftermarket options for 50-37 chainrings that will fit on this?

As a different option has anyone run the Rotor 4x100 AXS rings on a Quarq Dfour? i haven't been able to find confirmation either way that rotor 4x100 is the same as shimano 4x100

Thanks in advance!
I have the Rotor AXS 48/35 chainrings mounted on a Quarq DFour. They fit perfectly well.

I have tried on the same bike, both the Quarq DFour with Rotor Axs 48/35 chainrings and a Quarq DZero with Praxis 50/34 chainrings.

Take it with a grain of salt, but I felt that the Rotor rings worked better. I didn’t have any problems with either, but the shifting on the Rotor ones just felt better to me.

Also, it took me a while to dial the Praxis front shifting, but eventually got it. With the Rotor I got it the first time, but maybe that was just a lot of practice after the Praxis ones lol.

For me the 50t was too much with the AXS gearing (and that’s me coming from 53/39 and 52/36 setups) and that’s why I switched to 48/35.
Here’s a video of my Quarq DFour with Rotor 48/35 chainrings.
Hope it helps people that are thinking in going that route.

Sorry for the crappy video.

I have the Praxis Buzz rings in 50/34. I’ll make one with those too.

In my experience (sample size of one), the Rotor rings have worked better than Praxis and on par with Red AXS rings.

Hmm. Are 4 bolt 110bcd Rotor ring shift better than 5 bolt 110bcd Rotor ring in general?
That looks better than my old 5 bolt 110bcd Rotor ring did.

Interesting. Saw back side of the ring below.

I don't see any more advanced shift aid feature than my old Rotor ring. Maybe what make it shift better are subtle details.

Has this combo been mentioned?

SRAM RED/Force AXS 107 BCD Power Meter Spider + Sram Red AXS Dub Cranks/Spindle + Carbon-Ti AXS 4 bolt rings

This seems like a decent and clever option. Probably next best thing to a Rotor Aldhu carbon crank and you won’t have to run the shallow 30mm bearings.

That’s actually a good and light alternative. How’s the shifting so far?

So you can pair a 48T Carbon-Ti with 33T Force inner ring and 10-33 Red cassette? That would be a very useful range and light enough! I can live without the 10/11/12/13T when in small ring as the chain is sized to 48T.

Is that lighter than the original red axs double ring combo? At least you can swap the rings if they get damaged which you cannot with SRAM and the quarq is stuck to the rings...

Shifting is fine. No worse than with the original SRAM rings. They say you have to upgrade the inner ring as well but it is the same weight so I never did. Sorry I never weighed it but the weights are all available on line.
