Anyone seen a picture of this multi-tool hidden under the headset? :-)

T47 definitely gives riders more options, that's a good thing. The sizing chart looks just different enough to keep the forum stocked with "which size C68" threads for next few years. Seems just a tad more reach than the C's sloping sizes in the past?

That all-road model to come bit sounds interesting, I probably don't need another road bike but...

That said they'll probably release something like a Maipei scheme or the frozen C64's later and I'll be wanting one.

See if a video appears of the construction and if it is in Italy.

New Colnago C68: a next-generation classic
The latest in the legendary C-series is still handmade in Italy but features the latest tech, including 3D printing and blockchain

rim brake version is a great news for a future myself, who may or may not start to manifest symptoms of a middle life crisis, and may or may not have financial resources to act on them

The titanium variant piques my interest. Would one be able to recreate a traditional horizontal top tube geometry with those semi-custom lugs?

I was really looking forward to this but am now somewhat underwhelmed given that things like the super nice paint schemes for the C64 (Frozen gold, blue, and red for instance) are no longer an option. Also, the new geometry seems more targeted towards racing than endurance and maybe I am missing it, but unsure how to investigate the 'custom' route that was mentioned.

I didn't look at the geometry but noticed very little change in geometry from the c-59 to c-60 to c-64.that's very surprising. I'll check later

RIP lugs...I'll be keeping my EPS for a long time.
Don't understand the reasoning behind this, they should've differentiated the models more, not make them converge to such a similar aesthetic.
Still lugs according to Bikeradar:

The new Colnago C68: what you need to know
- Handmade in Italy in full-carbon or carbon with custom 3D-printed titanium lugs
- New multi-piece modular construction
- 930g claimed frame weight (size 51, unpainted without hardware)
- The C68 won’t be raced at the Tour de France; Pogačar will still be aboard the V3RS
- New 310g CC.01 integrated bar/stem designed for the C68
- NFC tag installed on every bike for a full digital passport
- 3D NFT file also included with custom bikes
- Available to buy directly from Colnago
- Allroad, gravel and rim brake models to follow

Also: still very overpriced

But seriously, my quick take; now this new model appear to be way too close to the V3rs and it would have been nicer a more classic look for the die hard (persioners) colnago fans.
T47 isn't a bad idea.
I hope the geometry remains very close to the actual one because I don't seem to be able to find it.

I think it's fairly obvious that the C64 did not meet sales expectations compared to the C60, even for a low volume product.
They sold out everything they could make.

Sounds like a lot of really smart decisions were made designing this bike. The retrogrouches on paceline are having a meltdown over it so that's probably a good sign for colnago.

As an owner of C64 I have mixed feelings about this

1) Die-hard colnago fans will probably be disappointed by this, this is more close to a Hermes handbag than to a racing machine
2) One has to admit though, this was the case with C-series for at least last 2 generations
3) I like the aesthetic of the frame, but I miss certain "je ne sais quoi" that my iteration had

Overall, Im really pleased that I dont feel immediate need to buy new frame

PS: The cost increase is gigantic, I have bought my C64 with Campa SR EPS, Bora WTO wheels for 10,600 € from official brick and mortar shop in Prague 1,5 years ago, now , identical configuration of C68 is 16,000€ , this is madness

If you can't still get close to that price as a custom build it's not really Colnago's fault. The C68 cost (not the Ti) is only £100 more than an art decor or frozen C64. £500 more than a sport paint C64.
