@ alanyu
This aero storage box should fit most frames and top tubes and be useful for most people. If I placed it behind the headtube in the front triangle it would be useful for me, but not for many others.

Looks great! I'm glad you like them!

I recently bought this Deuter Energy Bag to store a power bank and batteries for my GoPro. It's 0.5 l, 65 g and works nicely.
Is there a significant advantage with your design?
One is a commercially viable product and the other is a silly proof of concept.bobones wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 1:25 pmI recently bought this Deuter Energy Bag to store a power bank and batteries for my GoPro. It's 0.5 l, 65 g and works nicely.

I guess the main advantage is that a hardcase design like mine can be integrated into the design of a specific frame.
Like this for example;
After some testing by a fellow WW-member and revision to the design the aero storage box is evolving;
The box now has a steeper slope and the wall thickness has been increased by 33%.

Of you produce smthg like in that picture specific frame-adapted, I'm going to be all over this for my TT bike (when I finally get it delivered ).
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
If you are willing to ship the frame and bottle to me then of course I can make it for you. But that aero box would be specific to that frame in that size, so not many others would find it useful.
The idea of the aero storage box is that it will fit almost any road bike and can be printed for cheap (about 1,50 €).
Hi,
Sure, send me a PM with your address and what you want me to print in what colours.
Just for fun I attempted to make the already ultralight bar end plugs even lighter. Likely too light and weak.
I managed to get the weight of the open ended bar end plugs down to 0,96 grams;
And the closed ended bar end plugs down to 1,17 grams;

Hey Lucendi it's amazing for you to cut 1/3 of the weight off the pair of plugs! Here it is on my bike for reference. Lucendi made 5 pairs in small increment in diameter for me; on one side the smallest could fit but on the other side the largest was still loose! I ended up using a smaller one with gel tape on one half of the plug's outer surface so that it's firmly wedged in.

@Kayrehn
Thank you for all the extra neon yellow filament you gave me!
My camera doesn't do it justice, it is aggressively yellow/light green.
