Maybe add an axle kit to the list so you can get rid of the stupid cervelo system, and save some weight
Odd comment since the 2 axle's weigh 65 grams combined and they are without levers. The Caledonia and Aspero models come with the heavier axle.
I spoke with the cervelo dealer who said the soloist comes with the stupid lever axles rather than the regular threaded.

Maybe they're wrong, I don't know, but I specifically asked the question to work out what indeed to order.

Everything is ordered for my Soloist build. I'll detail weights for frame when it arrives.
Frame - Soloist Embers size 54
Wheels - Farsports Feder 45
Tires - Pirelli P zero race 26mm - Pirelli TPU tubes
Bar - Zipp SL70 Aero 40cm
Stem - Zipp Sprint SL 120mm 12 degree
Tape - Lizard Skins 1.8 Camo
Levers/Brakes - Sram Red - 160mm XR
Crankset - Sram Red 172.5mm / 50t-37t
R. Derailleur - Sram Red
F. Derailleur - Sram Force
Cassette - Sram Force 10x33t
Chain - Sram Force Flattop
BB - Sram T47 Dub
Saddle - Fizik Antares 00 Carbon 138mm
Pedals - Assioma Dual - Keo
Garmin mount- Zipp SL Sprint
Bottle cages - x2 Elite Zico carbon
Weight should be 7.1 kg RTR
The mix of Force and Red, due to weight savings or?
Saving money on the parts where weight isn't important to me and the items like the chain and cassette are consumable. FD is 9 grams difference and I paid $170 for the Force FD compared to $450 for Red. Cassette is around 60 grams heavier but finding Red 12spd cassette is almost impossible. The chain is least important and I'm coming into the Fall/Winter. About 75 grams heavier and saved around $475

I'm not sure about the full bike builds but Frame only comes with aero axles just like on the R5 and S5. I replaced the handle axles on my Aspero with Robert Axle Project and those weighed 70grams compared to 130 for stock. All the photos and description of the frameset both show and say aero axle without lever.

Does SRAM make a T47 asymmetric BB?

Has anyone ridden one of these yet? A shop nearby has one coming in my size but I would like some feedback before I go check it out.
I rode one but it was with the 105 so hard to judge. Bike didnt feel overly stiff. I will say in the smaller 51 size with my saddle height of 67 it just looks weird with the thick frame tubing and thick seatpost. I decided to pass on the bike. I think its a good deal for the $$ but I do not think the bike felt as high quality as other brands even when looking at the higher end builds with AXS.

Shaved 20g off the seatpost already with a carbon cradle and lightweight yokes cribbed from an Elita One seatpost.

Campagnolo build issues (regarding the front derailleur) were mentioned recently - what about the BB, would one be able to fit Ultra-Torque cranksets on the special T47?

Wow frame weight looks nice, especially for a white one. I expect a black one to be sub 1kg

I love seeing threaded BB's again - it makes me verry happy from doing mechanic work

I was trying to find a size 54 Alpenglow but after a few weeks I went with the Embers. Judging by your weight my frame should be around 925-950 grams.

I had an interesting call with the Cervelo dealer today.
They won't know until November at the earliest, IF they will get any Soloists, or when they will be delivered.

This is from the largest dealer in the country.

Ceramicspeed seem to have the most complete options for T47 asymmetric. They have one for Campagnolo UT. Otherwise you would probably have to buy 2 bottom brackets from somewhere else, one outboard T47 and one inboard T47, to piece together a single T47 asymmetric bottom bracket (which is outboard DS cup and inboard NDS cup)....might still be cheaper than a Ceramicspeed BB.

They will get them. Cervelo aren't currently giving UK ETAs on any bikes beyond a couple weeks notice when they're ready to ship. It's been like that since midsummer but hopefully will start improving in the next couple of months.

I'm not currently in the uk. I'm based in Ireland which is the absolute last place to get anything.
There are very few shops who stock cervelo, and those who do just don't get any stock.

4 of the largest stores I spoke with have been waiting for over two years for S5s.
