I'm after some new cheapish carbon forks for my old Ti bike, rim brake with 1 1/8 steerer, I'm in the UK and I don't see many/any in stock at the usual mail-order shops, however I see plenty on ebay new from China, is it worth the risk and if so any recommendation of vendors?

How cheap? One UK distributor has Columbus Futura SL in stock for £250, or Tifosi SR4 or SR7 for £120. Most shops will have an account and ability to order those.

I bought a set of the Chinese 1 1/8th rim brake ones for my girlfriends bike, they cost about £42 delivered to the UK from Aliexpress. Can't vouch for them long term but I gave them a very thorough check over before installing them, and truth be told they exceeded my expectations. I couldn't fault the fit and finish, was as good as I'd expect from a trusted brand.
I'll take them out and check them every few months till I fully trust them, although I'm not expecting any issues tbh.
I got these ones =
