I love my 2015 1st gen Venge. It has standard rim brakes. I think it is pretty aero, with deep wheels and the sworks aerofly bar. I think they sold them into 2017.

You can still get a new Factor One rim brake frameset. Not cheap though!
I have one of these which I bought used off one of the Factor guys. It's a missle. Defintiely "feels" more aero to me than my SL6 rim.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.
In build: SW SL8

2019 model year update Cervelo S3 Rim

Rare because the 2020 model year rebrand to S-Series went disc only
Fully internal mechanical groupset routing
Supposedly near identical stiffness numbers compared to S5
Quoted 125g difference between S3 Disc and S5 Disc is easily made up by rim brakes

I guess it's not a current bike, but the 2018 De Rosa SK Pininfarina fits the bill with DM brakes, decent tyre clearance and a sensible BB386Evo BB. A fast and fun bike to ride IMO.

The rear brakes of the F and F12 are all internally routed, and the feel is very poor

I still love my 2016 Fuji Transonic SL. Pretty light, pretty aero, DM brakes, pretty cheap (new was $2000 frameset). You might find one on the used market.
Such an underrated bike, aero tested on par with the S5. I miss mine, that was a great bike.

I've got a pair of SL6's (long story) and might ride them forever. I don't buy much into the aero-ness of one frame over another, but I will say these ride and feel really, really nice. Seems like anything else would be a downgrade.

2018 Kestrel Talon X
This is the 105 bike. Stock except swapped out the trp direct mounts for 105's and using Light Bicycle AR46 wheelset.
Comes in right at 18 pounds. Very fast bike for a number 2 bike. I have $1200 in it 😁

How about a BMC TMR01 2012-2017. It uses BMC's own interrated braking system.
I have one build with 11 speed etap and it weights just over 15lbs. Its stiff and fast but will beat you up after longer rides. Im seriouly considering getting a new frameset that is a little more comftrable than my TMR01.
