Curious what we should expect from Specialized in '22 (besides catching up with demand)... New Roubaix and Diverge?

What I would like to see: a Venge that is UCI illegal
What we'll probably get: a Venge that now takes advantage of the relaxed tubing rules

I doubt anything UCI-illegal (maybe a Shiv Tri) to be released. I would be more than happy to be wrong here.
Even the "UCI-illegal" aethos is fully uci legal and ridden in the Pro-Tour.

A new Allez Sprint! They haven't updated this bike since 2019 (for model year 2020), it's WAY overdue for some love. Seriously, where is it??

I'm not sure the Allez Sprint has a lot of competition (Emonda ALR?) so their may not be a lot of motivation to update it.

That's fair. I don't think it necessarily needs an update so much as it needs to just...exist again? They haven't updated the paint since MY2020, and it hasn't been really re-stocked since that time either. It's like it's just been left to rot away.

It's coming, full internal routing. Good or bad, the jury is still out.

No idea what to expect other than I doubt there will be a new Venge at all.

I would like to see a new Allez Sprint and a new Diverge would be cool but since it looks like they are moving the Crux into the position of doubling as Cross and Gravel and they just updated that, I'm not hopeful for the Diverge.

I'm certain when the SL8 comes out, they will have the build tech from the Aethos frame and the additional aero hype that they always bring up. Should be interesting.

I do not think it will be out in 2022.

From past history - rarely anything is “restocked” once that production is sold-out, you’re usually left hanging till the next season’s run of frames. Maybe if we’re lucky they’ll do one restock. Image

Yes, and that approach is understandable. It's just that in the case of the Allez Sprint there hasn't been that 'next season's run of frames' in over two years.
