Just posting up to see if anyone has the frame yet and if they've stripped it bare to weigh?

I have just received this 46.5 frame and pretty shocked with its weight, in a bad way... 911g!

For reference, a Pinarello 46.5 is essentially a 49cm in normal bike sizing (tiny bit bigger).

Here are all the S-Works SL7s in the same size I've built:

766g - 49cm - Dove Grey
729g - 49cm - Trinity Team Bike
721g - 49cm - Carbon / Chameleon Silver Green Colour Run
719g - 49cm - Carbon / Chameleon Silver Green Colour Run

Even a 58cm SL7 in Dusty Blue Pearl / Cast Blue Metallic is only a few grams heavier at 923g.

Dogma F fork uncut is 432g vs 371g of SL7.

Dogma F seatpost is 191g vs 181g of SL7.

So the Dogma F frame is giving away 190g, fork 60g, and 10g in the seatpost, giving it a total system weight of circa 260g over its rival, the SL7 of same-ish size.

It'll be interseting to see how light I can build this (DA Di2, Berk, Most carbon cockpit), but doubt it'll be much under 7kg.

It would be helpful if you could post completely bare frame weights here

The S-Works SL7 is clearly exceptionally light for an aero type frame, but then we already knew that!

The Dogma F is not a competitor in terms of weight, but I think Dogma buyers are generally less concerned with bike weight and more with 'ride feel'. I guess Pinarello design frames to please their target audience.

Hard to see this as a surprise. Even eyeballing this, there is a lot more carbon on the frame - pretty much all the shapes are wider.

Claimed weight is 865g for an unpainted frame, so its not to far off

What is the weight SL7 vs F including hardware, since that is where Pinarello claimed to be making savings.

I bet that semi-gloss silver paint is pretty hefty.

I had an F10 before and you won't feel the weight underneath you. I can say it has the same ride as the SL7 which is my fave. I'm getting an F for a second bike even if its heavy

You already have two bikes in your sig. Are you getting rid of one of them?

Which color? I wonder whether BoB is significantly lighter or not.

Ouff heavy but certainly eye pleasing!

Would you mind precisely measuring Center of BB to Rail clamps when seatpost at highest (max) position?

Thanks :D

I mean their is a reason Ineos have their frames painted by the F1 paint show, with paint that weighs nothing.

I feel like comparing it to a venge is a fairer comparison.

The Dogma is supposed to be an all round bike, like the SL7 - it's a fair comparison.

Pinarello website claims that a 53cm (Campy or Sram, disc, dt swiss 50mm, no pedals/bottle cages) will weight 6.9kg. Should be pretty easy (except for the $) to get a couple hunderd grams off that. Add back pedals should be right at 7kg. Or what am I missing? Believing the website???
