As we are discussing Spesh releases, please allow me to shortly go off-topic a little. Any news on a new Evade helmet? I would get a good deal on a current one at my LBS, but dont want to buy one that is "old" within a few weeks. Same reason I dont get any new, white Spesh shoes right now (altho the new laced one does look interesting. I love my Giro Empires).

Toebox looks very narrow - opposite to what Specialized shoes are known for. Little concerned these will not work for me.

Had the same thoughts. Maybe the 7 will go on sale.

From pictures online of pros wearing these the toebox definitely isn't narrow at all. Also, anyone have an idea when these will be available??

A LBS got a shipment in. Said they couldn’t show me nor sell them prior to release date. Heard it’s very soon like this week coming up

they are available to buy now
https://www.specialized.com/dk/da/s-wor ... lsrc=aw.ds
video isent out yet and made private. so will release soon, and in more colors than available atm.

so we are seeing lower. placement of BOA
20G lighter(sole atleast) than road 7
4mm wider
lower at the ankle.

this seems like the perfect shoe for me, cant wait to try them!

I wonder if the wide fit is also only in black :/
Oh man so I probably should try these before using the 7 lace. Although paying 260 for the lace vs 4xx Euro for the torch doesn’t sound too compelling

They sound pretty amazing.

The slope on the lateral side worries me a bit though.

Suggests narrow toe box.
