I have 2 sets of "old" speedplays and one set of new Wahoo's. All upgraded with Dulight titanium bits. Wahoo's were replaced when Dulight first released their set (circa 2 years probably), and "old" speedplays have probably 5 years now.

None of them suffers from any issue whatsoever. Very very pleased with Dulight quality.

Wahoo Speedplay Nano with rrskit parts.
The Wahoo spindle is 2g lighter than the rrskit one, and the pedal body is lighter on the nano compared to the comp, but everything else is lighter with rrskit (plates, plate screws, screw cylinders, and the 4 medal pieces under the plates).

The RRSkit looks like a quality kit.

Fit and finish looks good as well. I replaced one with the Dulight and that was good. Had one Aliexpress bits that’s was garbage.

Are the 71mm (48mm q) Dulight spindles the narrowest available for Wahoo-era pedals? Slamming the cleats outboard with the 71mm spindles would put the edge of my shoes right up against the crankarm, but I’d prefer leaving the cleat fairly centered on the shoe.

Does anyone know if the spindle mod works for the Powrlink pedals?

Now I know some of you think that I'm nuts. I am not here to convince you that I am not nuts, but I am talking about the single Powrlink pedals. I believe the pedal bodies are thicker than the regular pedals so the titanium bolts would need to be longer to attach the round bow ties. Did they change the non power side spindle [dimensions] or can I just tune that side like the other models?

You can swap the non-powered side, sure. The way the pedal body attaches to the end of the spindle is the same.

Good to hear. I thought that is what it should be but you never know if they changed something because the body is thicker.

Those that want to know, I measured the original screws and they are a shade under 20mm long.

I ordered two pairs of Dulight spindles and one of them has a defect. It's not located on a section that contacts the bearings, but I've sent them a message just to see what they say.

IMO the flange that braces against spindle bore should be thicker at the edges too.

I'm no machinist but it appears something that was stuck on the part while it was being turned. Maybe something that was in the titanium mix when it was made and before it was turned.

I hoping for the best, but the picture is so close, it's hard to figure out where it is on the spindle. Keep us updated.

It's on the tapered portion right next to where it becomes a consistent radius, so it's not going to be in contact with any moving parts. Dulight replied and said it happens occasionally, and that it's not going to be a problem. While I agree that it won't be a problem, it's a little disappointing to receive a blemished product after paying full price. I often buy blems on purpose, but at a heavy discount.

Good to know.

You could always use some fine sand paper and sand the blemish out. Follow up withe even more fine grade paper and a polish. Save a few grams.

I know, you really should not have to do this but I know, once I see this blem, I could not unsee it.
