Because Ali! Those are all the same (except for color of course). I noticed that the funny colored ones were the first that they produced, and then the others started to trickle in. Note that they also have it under the "Goldix" name just to add to the confusion. They're identical except for the lockring. I have one of each (one in an 11-36 on my wife's bike). They're 100% the same cassette.

Got a pink Goldix today today. Crazy light as you can see. It's a 12-speed 11-30, 140 grams lighter than my current Ultegra with same ratio.

However, it doesn't "fit" my Tune Prince hub. It's apparently a tiny little bit wider than the Ultegra cassette so it rubs on the frame. I had change a lockring in the Tube hub to be able to fit the Ultegra 12-speed cassette last year.
I tried it on my simple Prime and it worked fine. So featherlight cassette on an anchor of a wheel

Any way to put a .5mm or 1mm spacer inboard (or even outboard) of the axle? Not familiar with those hubs, but I would think there should be a way to make this work?

When I got the wheels a Shimano Ultegra 12-speed was to wide. I bought the wheels used but the seller arranged Tune to send me a new lockring, and I had it swapped. It was just a tiny bit thinner but it made the trick. So it seems like the Goldix cassette is a tiny bit wider than the Shimano which is to much for the Tune-hub.

So, I'd contact Tune. Honestly, I don't know anything about these hubs, but I also know that I would probably do in this situation is simply stick a .5 or 1mm spacer at the end of the wheel and put the thru axle through it and install the wheel. Maybe someone with these hubs can chime in if there's a more elegant solution, but this will work. Your frame spacing will be increased 1mm if you do this, of course. This would not bother me in the least, since the generally accepted tolerance is 1mm (+/- .5mm at most frame factories). That said, this is what I personally would do. You do you!

So, I'd contact Tune. Untill you get a flat, forget about the washer, lose it while taking out the wheel and have the cassette rubbing when you start riding again.

No need for any washers or spacers. Check the hub again and found two spacers all the way in, camouflaged. Took them of and voila, the off topic post from can stop.

As I said, "that's what I'd do", because 1) I wouldn't lose the washer, and 2) I haven't removed a wheel by the side of the road since the Obama administration. I mean, I rarely carry a tube, why would I remove the wheel? If two Dynaplugs aren't going to fix it, not sure what good a tube is going to do...

Back on topic though...I have back to having a creak with the hybrid cassette. It's only on one cog, the last position steel cog. It's a big concerning because I think that's where the pins go in from the top three aluminum cogs to the steel cogs. I have to take a look at it, but wondering if anyone has experiences this w/the Gen 3 hybrid cassette? Shifting has been great, cog noise is low, but the creaking on that one cog is making me wonder about the connecting pins...

Damn, just ordered one myself... I had a creak on the ZTTO gravel cassettes I bought 3 years ago. A little oil did solve the problem. Untill the rivets gave in and I had some cogs spinning (was an XD cassette). I didn't even get to 1000km on those...

So, I did remove it to take a look. Obviously hard to see through where the pins connect, but I don't see any bending of the pins/nothing misaligned. What I do see is that the aluminum cogs have a round carrier that butts up against the steel cogs. My guess is it's just the dissimilar metal creak you occasionally get front aluminum on steel. I think spraying some Sailcoat on this would get rid of the noise, except I'm hesitant to introduce a spray lubricant into the mix with my waxed chain... Guess I could meticulously clean it off. Sailcoat tends to stay in place once it's dry.

FWIW, I'm probably going on 1,500 km on this as I'm riding a ton right now, and all is still welll outside of the creak. I still view it as a "race only" or "event only" option, but I want to be completely confident in it before riding it on a day I care about it.

If it explodes, I'll be sure to report back.

Auto incorrect, thanks! It's a Volkswagen owner's best friend for eliminating all sorts of unwanted sounds. It seems to last much longer than other silicone sprays. It also smells terrible, so it's best to use outside if possible
