Yeah I don't know what version 1, 2 or 3 means in terms of ZTTO cassettes. I have only tried 2, both 12s. The first had the largest gears on the cassette (ie climbing gears) made from aluminium. I was unable to get the damn thing to shift well across the entire cassette. The 2nd is an all steel "monoblock" 12s 11-34. Done about 4-5k km on it. My go to cassette now :)

Could you post a link to the all steel ZTTO 12s 11-34? I was always under the impression they were alloy except for the smallest cogs.

edit; I don't know if that link is working. I open it on the AE site and link it. When I click the posted link here it comes up in Spanish without the cassette🤷‍♂️

Ztto cassette 12s 11-34 brings up an all black cassette withba blue lockring. That is it.

Just a quick update: 40km's in so far and the ZTTO gen 3 11-speed 11-28 cassette (110g) shifts perfectly (smoother than the Ultegra cassette that came with my bike). Very happy!

SixWeel aluminium 11-30T Shimano 12sp currently under testing (191g)
So far, been perfect, just not as silky as Shimano with HG.

Material seems also to matter. Got some feedback on these that they changed the steel parts with softer steel to dampen sound.
Seems they also experimented with monoblocs but somehow that didn't work out well
I'm curious about the steel ti version weighing 156gr but boy oh so expensive 😅

I honestly don't know why anyone would use that, except to hang the bike on the wall or using it for Insta photos... The Goldix/Ztto hybrid casssettes (Gen 3) are nearly identical on weight, about 120 grams in a 10-30, and only the top 3 cogs are aluminum. Durability is going to be orders of magnitude higher, for 10 grams.

There are cheaper sellers with more options than the Ali one listed. They only have one size of the 12s ztto listed but another one I found was cheaper and with many more size options. Will probably try one at some point.

The BDOP cassettes are another good option. I have had good luck with them in 11s, even though they are all aluminum. Have not tried their 12s yet but will soon.

ZTTO gen 3 cassettes now available in XD MTB versions as well with a great variety in ratios:

Claimed weight for a 10-51 is a very impressive 306g, about 70g lighter than XX1.

Just a quick update on the ZTTO Gen 3 cassette; Earlier I commented that my drivetrain was louder since installing it, and I blamed the cassette (thinking that it's because it's a one-piece vs. the Ultegra cassette my bike came with).

I bought a new rear derailleur hanger, which helped to quieten the drivetrain noise, but this morning I thought I'd see if the noise was due to the KMC X11SL chain. I refitted the Ultegra chain the bike came with and VOILA! No more noise at all!

Hate to be a sreader of misinformation so thought I'd better share my findings. TLDR: Weight good, shifting good, price good. Very happy.

You know, it could also just be the cassette wearing in. I have the Goldix/Ztto all steel cassette, and I decided to try the new hybrid cassette (11 speed though). Not a fan of aluminum cogs but decided at this price/weight I'd try is as a "race wheel" option, and I'm doing some training miles on it to see if it explodes.

ALL of these cassettes had a little bit of noise at the beginning, with either a YBN or DA chain (very low miles/waxed). The hybrid cassette was actually the noisiest; but, after about 400-500kms of riding, they all quieted down. The Gen 3 hybrid is actually the most quiet of all of them. The last steel cog was super noisy at first, which I found a bit concerning, but after a few rides it just went away.

I'll also add that after doing a couple of rides on an Ultegra cassette, shifting w/the after market cassettes after the cassettes are worn in a bit is identical to Shimano, on the ones I'm using at least.

How do the 12 speed Ztto cassettes compare to shimano 12 speed? As I under the shimano 12 speed casssettes have shift ramps in both directions now not just larger cogs like 10/11 speed.

What's the lightest most reliable 9/10-36 11-Speed cassette that people have found on AliExpress?

The ZTTO "ultimate" seems to have pretty shite reviews.
