Hi,

I am using tape, old cameras and what not trying to hold the handlebar on a bike without a fork when working on a headset...

Is there any easy way to do it if you do not want to hang it on shifter and brake cables?

Thanks

Perhaps if you work on your bike under a lamp hook in the ceiling. Then you could use a rope/ lace or similar to hold your handlebar suspended.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Those rod wraps would probably work the best! How big are they I wonder? If they are big enough would work great! They are very hard to find though...

Nah, that's to prevent the handlebar from flapping to the side. It will not suspend it in air without fork in place.

You dont have Amazon where you live? I saw them at Aldi but a fishing shop or car accessories place.
