Those prices are eye watering...

Does SRM offer cycling dynamics or equivalent?

It’s a spider-based PM, so it really can’t. It has no way of truly measuring left/right balance, and thus Cycling Dynamics and even TS/PE cannot be calculated.

The PM industry has moved past the likes of SRM.

It is great to see a magnet-less option though. With solid temperature compensation and Bluetooth. Not sure how they are accomplishing pedal dynamics given what we know about spider based units - but still good to see them hopefully pull level on features with most competition.

Price wise, well .. 🤷‍♂️

I'm curious how many units SRM is actually selling these days... and at what margin.

I love my SRM, but won't buy again at these prices.

What kind of bottom bracket do the SRM Origins use - the 24mm spindle version specifically?

24mm or 30mm / the Origin models are modular.

I’ll keep mine for as long as I can, just hoping the 9200 chainrings will fit. Looks like it’s still lighter than the dura ace version and looks great IMO

Keep a lookout for the chain catcher pin between the crank arm and the chainring. It's longer than in previous generations and can contact the crank (which will warp the chainring when tightened).

Mine is 631 g with the Look arms, 9200 chainrings, and a 24 mm Ti spindle.

SRM says the PM9 + THM + 24mm Ti spindle is 444g which is around 20g lighter than my Quarq DZero Dub... at about 10x the price
