And clearly their reasons for holding on to rim brake before was due to weight saving and wheel change. Where are all those people claimning those were not the reasons?
Anyway, Campagnolo will likely be the only one producing rim brake group in 2025 now that no pro teams are using it except UAE in high mountains.

So you're not gonna talk about Ineos finally on Disc?

Shimanos new groupsets aren't even available and you are already about to predict a forthcoming groupsets generation?
Anyway, it was just a matter of time before Ineos would be on disc brakes. It's all about working with the stream and cashflow, not to create question remarks as they have been doing (using rim brakes). Shimano have invested in "disc is the future" and Froome would probably (if still in Ineos) be the first who they printed on a poster, saying yummy i sell my Mummy for the new calipers.

Their relationship with Shimano is a long built one so I'm sure they were 'encouraged' [if they were unwilling, and none of us really know] to support Shimano's top-tier grouspet offer.
They might fully on baord with a disc braked future after conducting whatever tests they deemed fit.

The Lekki Corporation apparently doesn't have the scratch for being co-spiff this year, for like - anyone. You'd think - hey, rim brakes have both purpose and a benefit. So, logically, any team having yet to adapt to the other braking setup (also having purpose) (...and benefit) would surely want some Lekki's standing tall.
But - no Lekki. Me thinks the tides have shifted in Counterfeting.
There is a pestilence upon this land. Nothing is sacred. Even those who arrange and design shrubberies are under considerable economic stress at this period in history.

I think it's a time to realized which team has a real contender for Tour de France of the next 5 years. It's definitely UAE Team Emirates.
Sky/Ineos has been traditionally focused on Tour de France, but from now on they have to compromise on winning a couple stages, not a general classification, which means they no longer need to stick to rim brakes anymore.

No, it's impossible to have a civilized discussion about rim/disc on the internet. Ride what you want to ride, nobody cares.
