Buying experience.... ordered off Aliexpress (not C100)

Order placed end of Feb 2022, seller informed me order would be delayed after one month, then again pushed it another month to end of April 2022
After this, was basically informed it would be delayed indefinetely. Shipped out on July 7th but China Post took some time and was utimately recieved end of August.

Build took 2 weeks, I have only been able to put in a few kms since however, I can say the bike is fast

Weight as pictured 7.14 kgs without pedals, with cages and garmin mount

pardon the gearing on these photos..

Haha Montreal isn't exactly a hotspot for asian frames.. have seen a few Yeoleo's around I'm guessing from the pro team. I just had assumed i'd be the only one around with one.

Hope yours arrives soon! Was at times a very fustrating process (especially by the China Post part.. the nonsensical tracking was driving me crazy). It's worth the wait though, very happy so far

Congrats stainless, looks great.

Very interesting you ordered off of Aliexpress successfully. Would you be up for filling out your details in the Seka Order Tracking spreadsheet? The ordering experience you went through is particularly unique compared to most and I'd be interested to have it captured:

Thanks.

Has someone else tried to fit a Red DUB crank with a sigeyi 4-Bolt powermeter and Shimano chainrings on the Exceed? The chainline seems way off. 🤔
How bad is it, no spacers to play with ?
There is not much to gain. Current Chainline is roughly at 51mm. Guess I made an error somewhere. :noidea:

I received my tracking number as well. Seka confirmed that 7 large RDC framesets in Naked black were ready to ship (only 7...wasn't kidding about the production batches), but they didn't have any 400-100 cockpit in stock and had to settle for a 400-110 or wait 3 more weeks. It shows that the smaller sizes are prioritized and when you have a look at Taobao and local dealers in Asia the available sizes are all 380 and narrower.

Pre Order Reservation Date: Mar 31
Full Balance Payment Date: Jul 1
Your Country Location: Canada
Frame Size: L
Which Model: RDC
Which Color: Naked Black
Which Bar-Stem Combo: Ordered 400-100, but will receive 400-110
Shipment Received: Yes (tracking received)
Which Website or Shop did you order from? Cycling100

Same for me! Ordered RDC L NB 420/110 in late July.

Only concerning thing was that direct paypal payment was not an option.
On top of that credit card payment via Revolut failed stating that merchant didn't perform 3DS check :unbelievable:

It really looks like they're shipping frames of the bigger sizes now. Just paid my balance and was assured by Cycling100 customer support (by Email) that the frame is actually on stock, reserved for me and will ship immediately upon payment. We shall see now...

I spoke to SEKA and C100 two weeks ago about placing an order. They said currently there is a projected lead time of about 10 to 12 week's...... I wont hold my breath. Anyway I am not in a rush so took the plunge and placed a order for a L RDC Naked Black. Will post updates as time ticks on.

Can anybody shed some light on their bottom brackets by Token? Is it vital to order those along with the frame of can i just get one from Shimano when I order my groupset?

And are their headset bearings a standard size or proprietary?

The BB is a standard T47 type.So any inboard T47 BB matched to your crankset spindle diameter should work. On other builds I have found the Token BB's to be of decent quality. The frame should come with headset bearings, however I recall someone mentioning they are slightly shallower when compared to FSA ACR versions. Maybe something like a FSA SL MR110R would work for the upper.

Btw I don't know when this changed, but potentially of note is that Seka now state in their FAQ that the frame has max clearance for 28mm tires (not 30mm), according to ISO guidlines (4mm clearance left and right). If they've revised it down by 2mm, then I'm guessing 32s are indeed a no-go.
