Picture of the BB thread. Not the best one, sorry.
Already installed most components including the crank set today. Went just fine.
I'm going for a Force/Red build AXS. Currently however installing a Rival rear derailleur with climbing cassette first. Finding the right components in stock was quite difficult.
Routing the cables through both the frame and handle bar was easier than expected!

Definitely very difficult sourcing components just now - where did you manage to find your AXS components? I've been searching high and low for Red or Force shifters and calipers without any luck.

I've ordered components from Bike24 (DE) bike-components.de (DE) and mantel.com (NL)
Do you think the difference between the regular Exceed and RDC is worth the extra cost? As an aero bike, I tend not to rate the weight difference much. According to cycling100 it's only about a 175g difference, but I would probably need an XL so I assume that would be more significant in my case. I am wondering what the difference the ride quality would be though.
derkv, can you measure the width between the chainstays were the tire sits. Seka claim 30mm tire clearance, but the space between the chainstays looks like it could take much more.
I think this is just very personal. I would not like to spend €1500+ on a frame that weighs around 1180 grams in XL. I would rather spend the additional €500. If weight does not matter to you, it's an easy choice. Perhaps the regular version is even stiffer, but if comfort is what you're looking for, just use some wider tires/lower pressure.rhender wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 5:46 pmDo you think the difference between the regular Exceed and RDC is worth the extra cost? It's approximately 40mm. I currently have 28mm tires mounted with around 6mm per side of free space.

2.5mm either side of the tyre is not enough clearance. IIRC the British standard is 4mm either side.eucalyptus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 8:26 pm40????? On the rear lower end section of the chainstay?
Then it would be possible to run 35mm with no problem.
Seka exceed rdc goes gravel?
Doubt chainstay width is going to be the limiting factor, and 4mm either side is pretty generous. Almost certainly, seat tube will be the issue, frame size and tire choice dependent (some tires are taller). I suspect you might fit a challenge strada bianca pro (htlr) 33 for exmple ... but a 32mm gravelking slick almost certainly too tall.
Hey WWs,
Which length mounting bolts I have to prepare if I want to assemble both front/rear 160mm rotor with SRAM flat mount calipers on this SEKA Exceed?? I have two SRAM red HRD calipers (early version, 1pcs forged) and their paired adapter both front and rear.
