And a new black version for the non RDC.
https://cycling100.com/collections/road ... ame-carbon
In my opinion that's quite a lot of opportunities to choose from (RDC or not, serveral colors, cockpit, seatpost) - concerning, that the actual prices are already too high for numberous of people saying "nah about 2000 Euro or more for a chinese no Name frameset (including shipping)..."
But maybe Seka offers a custom painting for those who ask for and are willing to pay (guess about 500 Euro extra).

The black RDC has been weighed at 897g for M and 914g for L

totally respectable numbers.. what does a Factor Ostro weigh
Ostro in black: 860g for 54

So paid my balance to Cycling100 on 27th July but still waiting for my frameset to be shipped and no responses to my requests for an update.... the customer service just gets better and better. If they told me the frame wouldn't ship for several weeks I'd live with it but when they promise to send it out within a week and then radio silence, that is very damned annoying.

As somebody stated earlier, I've dealt with quite a number of Chinese vendors over the years but have never experienced such slow response times.

20%. But still less than half the price of the big brands.

This price increase pressured me to place my order.

Let's hope cycling100 will not try to enforce it, even if can afford it.

Anyway, I'm mentally ready to use PayPal protection or my credit card insurance to get my money back if something goes wrong with cycling100. I don't know why but I fear some kind of exit scam... (well in fact I exactly know why)

Isn't PayPal protection limited to only 45 or 60-days?

Ive sent Cycling100 multiple messages over the last days (both via their website and email). No reply to anything. Are these guys still active?

Instagram page also seems pretty dead.

Is the SEKA handlebar really worth $480 USD + customs/VAT ? Thats like a $630 handlebar once it reaches Europe. More expensive than anything else except THM / Darimo.

Sure, different thing if ordered with a frame DPD.

Their Vortex wheels are already quite overpriced imo.

180 days from what I see on their website https://www.paypal.com/be/webapps/mpp/b ... le.x=en_BE

I think it's not USD in this price list. It's singapor dollars.

By the way Im curious as to how much of the weightsaving of the RDC is actually accomplished by a different layup of the carbon vs merely using a lighter paintjob such as their "naked black" frame.

I think you can only know this if someone gets the normal Exceed and strip the paint off to compare weight...

Paypal protection also pulled me in to make my preorder.

From a build-video I was just watching I got the impression that there are no chainstay protectors (stickers) on the frame? Also, is there a chaincatcher behind the crank to protect it?
