Seka Exceed RDC

I received my frameset over a month ago... still need a cassette before I can build it up. Anyone know where I can get a Sram 10-33 cassette?

I'm generally excited about the frame. The geometry is perfect for me. The top cap is a ridiculous 3g. The rest of the bits are well thought out. The compression plug is heavy compared to the FSA one that I got with the 5D super compact bars.

Thats quite far from the specified 775 gram for medium size... So the Seka isnt as light as advertised then?

Framesets are always specified with no hardware (hanger, bearings yada yada)
So a BB might add quite alot of weight pending on option!

Even so, the parts he specified including der hangers doesn't add up But yeah, manufacturers weight is never correct. Just a bummer as the Seka is advertised as a lightweight race machine just like S-works SL7 and similar frames which really is that light.

Nevertheless it will be a sweet ride and I hope you enjoy it !!

Yeah, right you are!
The weights given by manufacturers are often from a scale tuned for weight weenies (well, it seems like it anyway)!
Our regular scales are often more true!

Maybe "RustyCage" could clarify, what the "S" stands for. In case it means "Standard", the weight is just like advertised.

Frameset weight(size M unpainted): 953g - Paint and fittings adds approximately 101g, for non-RDC

The weights are (so far) just like advertised (fpr the RDC an Standard Versions) - like advertised and already written you have to add paint and fitting adds.

Frameset weight(size M unpainted): 953g - Paint and fittings adds approximately 101g, for non-RDC

Quite heavy paint for only being a clearcoat

About 100g for a bit of black color, decals, clearcoat and fittings ist not heavy at all (RDC).
About 135g for color, clearcoat and fittings ist also not heavy at all (Non-RDC).
Especially concerning, that (as already mentioned) the claercoat (on my / the RDC) seems to be quite thick and not very sensitive to scratches and that it has (some kind of) aero tubes.
(Leaving out the price).

Yes, S=small and RDC version.
For me sub-900g for this frame is great with all the bits. Getting sun 7kg with aero wheels is no problem.

only for non rdc, ther is a new aurora/green color, there would be a nice option to have custom painting or more color palette to choose from
