Just a update after riding my Exceed RDC L size for more than 1 year now.

Upgraded:
Groupset: Shimano R8070 to Shimano R8170
Crank: incolor Skypivot to Elilee XXE crank
Wheelset: Farsport feder 30mm+RD230 to Elilee X46

It is still 6.82kg, very light weight, aero, stiff enough and comfort for me. :beerchug:

New red sticker matching the AbsoluteBlack red chainring and bar tape
Looks great! May I ask where you found those stickers?

I just Preordered a Seka Exceed RDC Naked Black frame in Medium with 380x130mm Bar/Stem and 0mm Setback post. Hopfully this bike will be a good addition to my stabe as I'll move my Caledonia 5 to light gravel duties. Full Sram Red with Farsports Feder 45's should easily get the build at 6.8kg
23’ Cervelo Soloist / 6.88kg - 1x Crit Bike
22' Cervelo R5 / 6.35kg - Climbing Bike
22' Cervelo Caledonia 5 / 7.55kg - Travel Bike
21' Cervelo Aspero / 8.06kg - Gravel Travel Bike
23' Cervelo Aspero 5 / 8.25kg - Gravel Race Bike

Thanks Neil, I had great fun doing the build and filming. I've got a new found respect for youtubers, extended the build time by 1000%

I paid my remaining balance on Jan 6th but the frameset still hasn't shipped.

Checked with SEKA and got a reply today that the seatposts are out of stock (I selected the 15mm offset ones) and it's going to be 2 more weeks.

I'll be interested to see how soon you get yours, I also ordered 380x130mm bars, but I'm wary that they don't really exist. Haven't seen anyone post that they ordered the same

Contacted Seka regarding an order and they explained that cycling100 and ccache are the distributors. None of these companies answer e-mails or chat messages I've written. So my question is;

How are you guys ordering these frames?

Anyone from Europe(Sweden preferably) that had to pay customs/taxes on their orders?

Thanks!!

I'd hope they will ahve my Bar/Stem choice ready by the time my frame is ready as it's pretty crucial when ordering the bike. Obviously reading through the Seka thread you can see the issues Seka has had delivering frames on schedule but hopefully things have turned the corner and improved and they can deliver on the estimated time quoted.

Many of us have been tracking our orders on the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

I personally ordered through Cycling100. I briefly considered buying through Aliexpress but after contacting the seller, I decided not to since they said they didn't actually stock frames, and that I would have to wait for the order to be made.

Interesting info about the new seat post. I wonder what was wrong with the old one except that the hardware did seem a bit bulky. The new clamp at least looks like a proven design principle.

Anyhow, I just added my data to the spreadsheet after ordering an Exceed (Ink Black) today. Let's see how long it will take. :)

Looks like the new post is a top/bottom clamping mechanism instead of a side clamping mechanism. Should be nicer with oval carbon rails.
