So im looking at getting a new raod bike. I currently have a speed concept (tt bike) and giant defy 3. Im looking at either getting the Madone Sl7 or SLR7. Is the £2000 difference between the bikes worth it? Would it make a noticeable difference?
Also, the SLR7 comes in at the beggining of next season but the SL comes in at the end of the year.
Any info would be very helpful

Thanks

Pulling the two up on the Trek website, there are some notable differences, beyond the carbon quality (which I think matters). The saddle is different and more importantly, the bar/stem combo. The SL uses a standard bar/stem whereas the Madone uses the combo piece. which is nice. If you can afford it (it's your money, after all), go with the SLR. If not, get the SL and try pricing out the bar/stem combo, separately.
