No need to over complicate it, make the decision purely on strength. If you find youself spinning out a lot, constantly wishing you had more gears, or constantly at the small end of the cassette, then move to a bigger chainring. No real reason other than that.

cassettes are not very expensive
You clearly missed the 'Campagnolo' keyword above ;)
And personally, having just bought an Omni Racer full Ti cassette for delivery from the U.S. to the U.K. with tax yet to be added, I would also beg to differ..

take 52-36 with 11-32 . You have better range and lower gears for climbing.

I ride now for example 53-36 with 11-34 cassette and it works great.

I have big 53T chain rings for hard sprints and downhills and I have low gears to climb even hardest climbs slightly lower ratio than 34-32!

I am middle aged, and live in a hilly area. I used to ride (Campy) 50,34 + 11-32. But I switched out the chain rings to 52,36. Because:

1. I found I never used the 32,
2. My legs were spinning out at 50 + 11 when trying to pedal those sweeping descents.

I am much happier now on 52,36. I still only occasionally resort to the 32 but it's nice to have it there in the bank for the longer, more taxing days. Hope that helps!

Centaur 11-32 makes sense (as does SRAM same). If you dont need the 11 then get the 12-32, it has 12-17 in singles, will cross chain OK on most longer chainstay bikes. Mine is happy on 34/12 but more importantly has the 16 so nice 5inch (approx) gaps all the way where it matters. Excellent cassettes that I have on three bikes.

For me 12-32 is better than 11-32 because you need 11T in 1% of situations on hard downhills and you can go almost same speed with 12T too with higher cadence.

Its better and more practical to have 16T instead.

obviously 2nd is more heavier but that is nothing special somewhere around 50 grams or something like that.

The question is about 12s.

Oops sorry. Well as I understand the last three cogs on 34 version 25,29,34 are available as an upgrade to the 32. Very much a shame the three ending in 32 are not available to update the 29 officially as that would be great.
