I have Absolute Black at the moment and they are stiffer than Shimano ones.

Absolute Black, are offset outwards at least 1mm, and they change the chainline.

And yes they are very stiff.

Do you want a standard round chain ring or do you want an oval chain ring? The latter narrowed down your selection significantly.
