What stem is that?joejack951 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 12:39 amI’ve never had a bad experience with a Ritchey seat post. I have one on all three of my drop bar bikes. The classic frame has the ‘Classic’ seat post.
Prettiest seatpost?

If you're happy with red anodized bits, there's this:clrdr wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 11:24 pmSeeking recommendations for a road seatpost that will look Does anyone have a recommendation for a colored anodized post that's decent and relatively lightweight? Or polished aluminum? Or just black anodized but with a graceful profile. Preferably

I have one, it's decent and it's well under your budget.

Hand-polished Kalloy Uno. It was black originally. I could find a -17 degree, 31.8mm stem in polished silver so I got to work. The Ritchey Classic stem is very nice but only -6 degree and never looked quite right with the horizontal top tube. I have pics with that stem floating around if you are curious to see.DeLuz wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 6:48 pmWhat stem is that?joejack951 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 12:39 amI’ve never had a bad experience with a Ritchey seat post. Several have commented that the ‘fat-ness’ of the Kalloy Uno isn’t a great match for the skinny steel tubes. I agree but for the price and weight the Kalloy made a lot of sense. I am working on a custom stem which is nearly ready to release for prototypes. It addresses all of the aesthetic flaws of the Kalloy while mostly maintaining the low weight (~125 grams at 110mm anticipated weight).

That would have been a lot easier! But definitely more expensive (~$80 vs. $25) and quite a bit heavier. I found a site quoting the 110mm length at 175 grams.

I'm biased, but the MCFK offset post looks elegant to my eyes. And it's been a "set and forget" item, which is a big win.
