It makes a lot of sense when you see it with the hoods mounted, very smooth transition. I like it, genuinely new idea and consideration of ergonomics. Pricy though, as you would expect.

I was curious what would be their response to in-house equipment bike-brand.
the work on ergonomics appears interesting. Curious if /how the replaceable rubber pads would be used.
Now the shape… is… unnecessary messy around the stem/bar connection. That would hurt my eyes to watch this “all day”

Appears to also be ACR compatible with the option of running the front hydraulic hose inside the steerer. Haven't seen any other non-FSA integrated barstems that are compatible, to my knowledge.
Look nice to me, especially once the shifters/hoods are mounted. But too bad about the weight. Given how light the Vibe aero SL is, I was hoping this would also be class-leading, not 100g heavier than the Bonti bar. Granted, this one has a lot more shaping and integration.

if 390g is with that integrated rubber/top section bar tape, that's really impressive given the shape of the bar.
Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.
n+1...14 last time i checked, but i lost count

There will surely be an SL version of this within a year. I'd expect it to knock 100g off.BigBoyND wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 2:05 amLook nice to me, especially once the shifters/hoods are mounted. Weird that they have hood integration but don't show brifters mounted.

This could be interesting. Seems heavy compared to the Bontrager though for example.
Could open up possibility of using something other than bar tape on the drops. The ESI grips for MTB are awesome, could see a longer version of that being used and could be super comfortable.
