In the meantime, Repente released Prime 3.0. But, for some unknown reason, it is 20 eur more expensive than 2.0

In the end, what I opted for was Selle San Marco Mantra Full-Fit Carbon FX...
It is a bit dated, not big ressure relieving hole and not a short saddle.
But a review at road.cc suggested it is comfy, it is quite light and it was on a great discount.
Hopefully it works better than the Selle Flite Kit Carbonio...

I've done 4+ hrs on this but i'd reckon some comfort is dependant on seatpost flex....Look795Blade having one of the highest stiffness ratings does not do the saddle any favours.
That said...saddle does feel like a small microsuspension on road....but on trainer...discomfort at the 1hr mark.
Other saddles ridden...Pro Falcon...awesome saddle and Selle Italia X1...did not like.

I have an urge to test all (more or less) flat saddles. I think the only saddle i have liked which is not flat is Ceetec.

So, in other words it was not the best for you? E.g. Pro Falcon worked better? With the same stiff seatpost.

So, what about Ceetec, do experience no inconvenience after using it? Especially compared with Repente.wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 5:02 pmTo be honest, i wanted it to be great. But i got hot spots so i will not use it. I went beack to Ceetec C1.

Fabric scoop race (flat, shallow, radius - different padding or shape). Has TI rails, and is around $100usd. They also have other variants in many other categories.

No i must say that it is my favorite saddle of all saddles tested and owned during my years on a bike.musiclover wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 4:11 amSo, what about Ceetec, do experience no inconvenience after using it? It has a stiff shell (no flex) and a firm padding (fibre cover soft). This together with a bibshort that actually interact as little as possible with the shape of the saddle, is my best combo. These would be SQ Labs bibs. These have a chamois ranging from 2 to 4mm in uncompressed state.
IMO, that is why SQ Labs are my favorite. There are ofcourse more technical advanced bibshorts. But for me, they all fail du to the shape and thickness of their chamois. Saddle comfort will always be saddle + chamois. As long as you actually use bibshorts with chamois.
