Am putting the finishing touches to a long-awaited AXS groupset, and the last item to get is the rotors. The centerline X seem a lot pricier than the paceline rotors. Is there really a great deal of difference?

For context, this will be a road bike with clearance for 35-38 that will be seeing some light gravel.

Thanks.

The main difference between the centerline and aceline rotor is the construction. Centerline is 2 piece with a Alu spider and Paceline is 1 piece steel.

In theory, the 2 piece with alu spider rotor should be stiffer (less chance of warping) and able to handle heat better (alu dissipate heat faster than steel).

But the main difference will be weight between the two with the centerline being 30-40g lighter

Campy's rotor vent design is awful when combined with SRAM's monoblock HRD caliper pad shape/coverage. Not sure about the pads meant for two-piece calipers.

I use my Campy rotors with Shimano Saint style pads. They're 13.3mm x 36.6mm. A lot longer than SRAM pads.
