Hi
the plastic top cap of my FD-9150 front deraileur broke off yesterday and Im having problems finding a replacement part, does any of you happen to know the part number or perhaps an online retailer that sells them?
Many thanks.

My fears are confirmed, that realy sucks
Thanks for the input, i will start to investigate a bodge repair and try to make a cad of the piece for eventual printing.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. I had to brake for an incoming car just as I was simultaneously clipping in and pulling into the road at the start of a ride. My heel slightly hit that part (not a huge impact by any means), and it broke easily, it really is very flimsy. I can understand Shimano for not making it sturdier, as it's not structural and plastic is very light, but then not providing replacements is very questionable. It does really make you feel like you just bought a cheap product on Aliexpress, not what is supposedly the pinnacle of bicycle drivetrains.
Probably gluing it in back in place should work, though it's hard to tell how long that will last. In my case I kept the broken bit but still haven't attempted the repair. Luckily it doesn't seem like it affects the water proofing, so it's just cosmetic damage.

I had a similar issue with the top part of the 9150 shifter name plate. There are no spares for many parts of the groupset.
I contacted Shimano and they said my only chance was to spend $250 on a new shifter blade or hope that an LBS could switch my shifter blade with a crashed bike.
I'm still surprised by this to be honest. Hope you manage to glue your part back as my plastic part was completely gone.

Thanks for the advice, I've super glued it back into place.
It is indeed shocking Shimano don't make such items for spares.

Anyone have the screw size for the Dura Ace name plate? Luckily I managed to pick up the name plate but begrudging paying £15 for a screw
