Yes, but if you take money and intentionally never give them the part they ordered, that it, in a legal sense, stealing.
Of course. Ted definitely has been guilty of stealing (per what I've read over and over). The Alibaba copies of his product are not stealing unless someone can find some patent documents proving otherwise.
The Ali sellers are just liquidating their production run for an order that Ted stiffed them on. If anyone's stealing, it's Ted.

@RichCH How are yours working out? I still have just the front one fitted. I used it in the rain yesterday with carbon rims, and it was very good. Almost as good as in the dry.
So far ok, not done a huge amount of riding on these as with the weather being so unpredicatble in the UK recently, I've been on the disc brake bike more. I've put in around 120km so far on the rear brake and its performed fine, there haven't been any sudden stops so no massive loading on it, and I also live in a fairly flat area so no alpine decents. It brakes better than the Gravitas brakes I had previously and on par withthe Sram reds I had before that. This is a limited sample and limited range, but my confidence is building in these now.

Mine too. And they never need adjusting, apart from the initial bit of new cable stretch.

I stumbled onto this tread while looking at the latest "Zero G" brakes on the market and found the Ali clones, old stock, or whatever they are as too tempting to pass up.

I have these particular ones on the way with the shorter arms compared to most of the listings that are Brompton style.

I'll post some pics and thoughts after putting some miles on the set. Still a week or so out minimum.

Those are the ones bought by RichCH and me. I don't know of any variation in arm lengths on aliexpress.

Any more reports of challenges fitting these on wider rims?

As you can see, RichCH succeeded with a 26mm true rim and Black Prince pads. So theoretically, with Black Prince Evo, a 27.5mm perfectly true rim might be possible. How wide do you want to go?

I have the G20sl's from ciamillo, i couldnt fit them on my 28mm's as advertised so I sent them back. He said that the newer arms offered more clearance but im pretty sure he just mailed them right back to me. I ended up getting different pad holders and that solved the problem. So I am running LightBicycle 28mm rims now.

The ones with the longer arm for where the cable attaches are what you and RichCh bought. Look at the ones in the link from my last post and compare to what you bought below.

Hi Superlite, the ones you've ordered are identical to the ones I ordered. There are versions with even longer cable attachment 'triangles' on Aliexpress, but none with the short triangle on the actual Lekkis. If your rims are wider than 27mm, you are really going to struggle to fit them.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

The triangle on the Topcamping one looks like the Brompton B1. https://www.lekki8.com/product-page/lek ... r-brompton

Some days ago, Ted sent a mail telling he's going to start selling a new version of its lekki8, "l8". 10g lighter...

Can't be a bearer of bad news if I don't have rims that wide lol.

This seller is advertising a slightly wider version (and heavier 158.7g vs 140g) that fit 28 rims and 32c tires.

Clicked through and saw that it's still the 140g version. Where did you see that it's 158g?
