TBH once Favero release their Shimano Assioma pedals, you would have three solid players (Garmin and Look) that covers every pedal need.

So I find it hard to go with an unknown given we got solid players with years of experience.

Look/SRM Exakt and SRM X-Power isn't even worth a mention. Their strain gauge layout is inferior to Garmin's and Favero's...and it costs significantly more than either.

My apologies...I meant Wahoo (instead of Look) with their speedplay pedals.

At some point, you could have said the same about most power meter manufacturers.

Yeah, but this is some point later. I backed the Magene P325 CS KickStarter with low expectations and still felt disappointed by the product. They delivered in a timely fashion, but the chainrings are junk, the charging interface is junk, the reported power is 3% high when it's working. "When it's working" because under high torque the numbers are complete junk.

The body swap between road and MTB stds could appeal to some… even if that’s not something anyone would do on a daily basis.

I would imagine SRAM will see to that. I'd be very surprised if they take as long as Wahoo did with Speed play

I'm doing it weekly/twice weekly currently on my gravel bike. I swap wheels and don't particularly like using my road shoes on gravel
