Just a quick one for information for anyone else who might be after the same. I've wanted a spare gear hanger for my old Look KG 261 but there's very little information out there and nothing that relates specifically to that frame. Searching via wheels manufacturing it would seem to be hanger number 6 https://wheelsmfg.com/derailleur-hanger ... ger-6.html which is $22 and doesn't even include the bolt another $2.95. In UK £ it's pretty much a direct exchange around £25. I've never been impressed at all with their gear hangers as they seem to break extremely easily. Yes I know that's what they're supposed to do but personally far easier than they should. Funny that, an item you'll need to replace typically one of theirs will have no warranty as it's designed to break! I've never had a rear mech brake ever, the only one that got damage was because a wheel man hanger broke as the threads on my original non-wheels got a bit stripped so I replaced it with one of theirs. So I was never keen on buying one of theirs again. So I did another search and low and behold the very first hanger that popped up was a generic one for Wiggle's Brand X frame at just £9.99 including the bolt https://www.wiggle.co.uk/brand-x-rd-01- ... lsrc=aw.ds

And it turns out to be exactly the same hanger and here they are next to each other original on the left, new on the right.

So for anyone looking for a gear hanger from that era (2000), and I know a few Look models had the same, then this could be the best one to get. :beerchug:
