Hi,

I have a Winspace SLC 2.0 with a mechanical Dura Ace 9100 groupie rim brake.
Having tried a few bikes like a Specialized SL6 and Cervelo R5 I have to say this bike does not have that full on stiffness like the SL6 and R5. The ride feel is definitely more comfortable and compliant. Attached is my SLC at 6.7kg

if you are comparing with old R5 I agree, If you compare with the new R5, I disagree.
For the Sl7, the SL7 are more stiffer, I agree.
more cheaper and more faster, I agree

Yeah I only rode the older R5 not the new.
Apparently the SLC is more similar to Aethos is that right?

I built an SLC 2.0 rim brake for the Fred Whitton Challenge this year. With some home-built 35mm wheels, Ultegra mechanical shifters and mechs, 105 calipers, Rotor Aldhu 48/32 chainset and basic Shimano SPD pedals it came in at just under 6.8kg. It rides beautifully - comfortable, responsive without being nervous and just so much fun! The rear end is very compliant and I don't really agree with those who say the forks are too stiff. There aren't many bikes of that weight you could do 180km/3700m (112 miles/12000 ft) without serious discomfort.

I've retired it for the Winter but can't wait until Spring when the clunky Winter bike can go back on the rack...

Aethos are too soft, it is not enough for faster ride, but for comfortable ride is ok.
SLC 2.0 feels like dogma but in compact version.

Anyone built one up with discs and integrated bars? If so, what did you do about the cable routing rear to the front exit by the head tube?

I've just built one up. What I did was take the little cover off the downtube, then I used a pair of scissors through that hole to cut the brake housing there. It wasn't too stiff or difficult to cut through. Then I threaded the hose from the rear to the front and it worked perfectly.

I am interested in building up a bike using this frame but was curious to know about maximum tyre clearance. The website states 28mm but looking at a Parapera Atmos build (looks like they are using the same frame), they are using a 33mm panaracers. Can anyone clarify?

As glowing as his reviews of complete trash Chinese e-bikes? After seeing those, I really lost what little faith I had in his reviews.

Im don't weigh reviews on faith just content.
The things he said he backed up with cam footage inside the frames & mic measurements

Makes sense. Things like smooth carbon and perfectly round BB are nice to see. I like to see well manufactured products.

Unfortunately those things won't contribute to whether the bike handles or rides like a $200 or $2000 frame.

Have you ridden it? Or just have your mind made up for other reasons?

Also I would say those things mentioned do in fact contribute heavily to a well made/well riding bike.
If a company shows that kind of care they usually know what goes where & why.

I have seen similar on my old Looks back around 2000-2005 KG318 & 585 were flawless inside & our. In contrast Cervelo were at that time anyway made like trash inside & rode ok but lasted not long at all (original R2.5's) I had 2 warrantied then went back to Look
