Well, I was first pretty set on getting a Rival set up for my Exploro. Now with this, I may have more contemplation to do. A 44T chainring with a 10-44 cassette will probably give me all the range I need without a front derailleur.
Currently running 48/32 with 11-34. I'll lose a tiny bit of low end, but not much.

I wonder if there will be different levels of XPLR RD, or if the Force/Rival spec is simply referring to the other componentry specced.

oHHH... I'm going by that photo, and you can't stop me.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 1:53 am
Don't go by the Pinarello photos. That's clearly an 11spd Force 1 group. AFAIK the XPLR RD and cassettes will use the flat-top chains.
Its pretty damn clear SRAM AXS XPLR will have SLF BLNCR for unsupported bike photos and an internal battery connected to the RD but a non-wire.
I wonder if they will release a lighter tier of XPLR in Force or Red next year.. But either way this is a great start.. For me 10-40 something would be a true 2x killer for all my riding needs (not a cadence junky) my e13 9-46 was almost perfect, but the shfting wasnt as crisp as full AXS Eagel, Force and Red for meMayhemSWE wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 4:38 pmThis has now turned up at Chain Reaction:

Would SRAM go "close" ratio for high gears and then go rough at the low end?

It's gone from chain reaction, what were the specs?
