Good looking and light helmet choice... Made the wrong decision.

Giro Synthe is still the gold standard in bike helmets.

I'm trying to get a matte white Aether and Giro says they will be in stock Sept/Oct, unbelievable. Any online store that still has the large size?

I recently got Smith Ignite. Very happy with it!

Hello All,

I just received my Kask Protone. I find it much nicer looking :)

My old one

Vs the new one

However notice the Tintin issue with my hair going out of it lol, however, this can be easily solved ;)

Nevertheless, I really like its super light and much thinner profile.

What do you think?

Cheers

I've had the Protone since its launch. My favourite helmet along with the Giro Synthe and closely followed by the Bontrager Velocis.
Specialized helmets fit me well but are a bit bulky. I know Deceuninck - Quick-Step size down on their Evades for aero purposes. Less protection but faster/less bulky.

Worst helmet for me was the Oakley range but fit is very personal. Look at some photos of Tao Geoghegan Hart and you will think your Evade is an amazing fit. It's all relative ;)

I really like it so far after trying it on a short ride. It feels much lighter too! Black is also definitely better (less standing out on the road too) and match my bike color, I should have taken the Evade 2 in black as well but anyway will sell it now... Or i could keep it for very sunny hot day. Not sure yet.

Nice !!
What's your helmet size and head circumference ?
The Tintin is Tadej Pogacar's "signature", don't try to change that ;):
