Bought a Hylix post for my Evo. It cracked. I bought a Darimo. Can't he happier. (well, a bit happier if I'd bought the Darimo to begin with).

I bought a seat post for my Cervelo S5. It didn't even fit in the frame. I requested a refund from eBay I'll see what will happen.

My first Hylix zero setback 27.2 post I got cracked on the first ride, ebay seller replaced it eventually. Second one was fine for about a year and then snapped in half on a climb. Buyer beware.

I only made good experiences. Thing is, that there are a million different sellers [on EBAY], so I guess people need to reconsider their sellers and their reviews.

My seller was liukang1985 with 16330 feedback stars which are 98,6% positive...

what goes around, comes around i say. the fraudster will eventually get his due. or get help from weightweenie in china/hong kong to file a police report on that person. if you have his address, perhaps the authorities will do something.

I bought a post for my 2019 Izalco Max, as did a friend. Darimo etc don't make one for this model, so Hylix on ebay was the only option.
We have both used the posts for a few thousand km with no issues. He is ~90kg and uses the heavier clamp without issue, I am ~70kg and use the lighter carbon clamp also without issue. Liberal use of carbon grip paste.

I would still recommend trying these posts if you are looking for a WW option.

I purchased two Hylix seat posts from the eBay seller pingthyy2010. One for my BMC SLR01 and a round 25.4 post for my Focus Paralane. My experience with the product and the seller were satisfactory. I also purchased a J&L carbon cradle from the same seller and it's been fine.
