There may be a new track bike, but I know for sure there is also a new road bike coming out.

Isn't the new argon18 bike a track bike?

When are all these brands going to move on from BB86?
Do these guys get preferential treatment from Shimano for sticking to BB86?
What's the BB frame standard of choice these days? It annoys me a bit that my 2021 TCR has BB86, which is less than ideal for DUB, and would have preferred BB386evo or a wide T47. There seem to be compromises with BSA too.

You've got it right. For press-fit, BB386EVO is the way to go for the wide bearing stance and internal plastic cups. T47i would be the threaded analog. BSA is mostly fine too. It does slightly limit chainstay clearance and makes routing the hose/wires a little tight when using BSA30 BBs.

That headtube design is a sort of Argon18 trademark, isnt it?
Yes
It has always looked displaced & odd
But this one takes it to new levels

Not a new frame per se but integrated disc forks are now available to custom builders so expect to see a lot of fully integrated cockpit setups trickling up towards custom carbon. Passoni's new
Fidia Disco uses Deda's EDG DCR DB fork and I anticpate the likes of Festka to adopt Columbus'
Futura Disc Integrated fork. There's also ENVE's offering which was covered in another
thread here on WW.
