Rumour mill for Colnago C68 is ticking now (although not sure about the verifiability of this source)... Hoping for a release in spring 22..

Like you, I'd like to know "how aero" it is in comparison to its peer group. Apart from that new Orca Aero is a very sleek looking bike and I'm also very happy to see a two piece cockpit.
The toolbox does look unconvtional, but it's quite nice not to need a saddle pack or have one more free jersey pocket. Unlike the BMC TMR, the bike still looks very nice in "UCI-Mode" without it should you race or just dislike the box.
I have one of these on order. March earliest, July latest. The downtube box was one of the selling points. Will be happy to report how it handles the typical wet roads from where I am in New Jersey. Also interested in sharing the experience of riding and using an aero bottle, let alone two which I plan on given that my usual 2nd bottle holder isn't taken up by a case.
Seems Tour will test it, current magazine has pictures where the Orca is visible.
It has also been lab tested on a French magasine, their lab tests are quite inconsistent but the Orca appears really stiff…

I'm relying on quite surface-level google translate, but it appears that the test is targeted at the wheels rather than the bike. However, it may be done in combination.

OT: anyone know what bib tights those are? I like the design.

The Argon18 will be interesting to see.
On a similar note, any news about a new Madone?

No news on a madone but hopeful of one. Now that MY2022 is officially sold out. Hopefully Trek doesn’t follow Specialized and combine the Emonda and Madone into a somewhat light somewhat aero bike. Will the next madone be influenced by the new relaxed UCI frame design rules? Will it include down tube storage like the recent Domane and Checkpoint?

It's a track bike you realise.

Today, more frames have been added to the UCI frame approval list.

Rose / X-LITE DISC
ARGON18 / ELECTRON

Both of these are registered on "ALL" (means regular road bike).

Isnt the PVM just the new Electron Pro? The one that Australia used at Tokyo, it looks like it was approved in 2019

Now the Rose is definitely something to look forward to, as the poor man's Tarmac and the previous generation was already a very light and fast bike. Too bad they decided to scrap the extensive configuration options over the last years.

Do you have any more information about the new X-Lite or are you just speculating based on the current model? I'm waiting for an Aeroad but if Rose can introduce a new X-Lite with improved Aero attributes I might just go for that.
  • Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2
  • Cervelo Caledonia Rival eTap AXS
  • Vitus Venon Evo
  • Canyon Grail CF SL 8 Di2
