Be interesting to know what kinda weight that would be (had a quick look at the details on the website but couldn't find weight stated anywhere). Not available until late this year either.

Do you have any other details or dates for those bikes?ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 9:42 amNEW MADONE
NEW PROPEL
VENGE doesn't have a next generation~
Plus the big question is if giant found a better solution for the propel stem.

[**] Still BB86. It involves the fewest compromises if you're designing and manufacturing a frame, hence why it's still easily the most used pf standard.bobones wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 9:54 amDo these guys get preferential treatment from Shimano for sticking to BB86?TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 9:47 pmWhen are all these brands going to move on from BB86?
[**] What's the BB frame standard of choice these days? It annoys me a bit that my 2021 TCR has BB86, which is less than ideal for DUB, and would have preferred BB386evo or a wide T47. There seem to be compromises with BSA too.
The Propel should debut what ever their new front end system is, whether proprietary or an existing standard. It should then migrate to the TCR and potentially eventually gravel. I think it's highly likely to keep bar and stem separate still, what ever it is.tmrace wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:00 pmDo you have any other details or dates for those bikes?ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 9:42 amNEW MADONE

I only heard that PROPEL did not use the latest UCI rule design because the project was established too early. And MADONE, TREK dealers should have seen the picture.tmrace wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:00 pmDo you have any other details or dates for those bikes?ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 9:42 amNEW MADONE

That's pretty surprising. I held off on buying the new Emonda because ultimately it's a boring bike that isn't light enough or aero enough, so maybe the new Madone will stoke my interest.
I talked to a couple of different Trek dealers yesterday about a new madone and they sounded like they hadn't heard or seen anything yet. I'm optimistic that they are going to announce something, but I'm a little bit reserved since multiple shops haven't received any release packets or information yet (at least where I live). Let's hopeChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:00 amI only heard that PROPEL did not use the latest UCI rule design because the project was established too early. And MADONE, TREK dealers should have seen the picture.tmrace wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:00 pmDo you have any other details or dates for those bikes?ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 9:42 amNEW MADONE

https://www.argon18.com/en/bikes/road/sum-pro webpage shows:
Max tire size: 30c (32mm)
Max rim size: 32mm
Initially it said 28mm. But I think half the info was just copy paste from other pages. Either way, Argon18 prices are getting up there. I think the frameset price is 3600 Euros ... before VAT. Give it another couple of years and they'll be Specialized / Factor etc pricing (of today).darrydonds wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 5:23 pmhttps://www.argon18.com/en/bikes/road/sum-pro webpage shows:

That would seem like a massive failure given how long Giant's refresh cycles are. The project surely was begun before the rule change, but I'd have to think that with the new Propel potentially having been pushed back two consecutive model years, they must have amended it. Plus, the UCI rule changes were basically known in detail by the industry nearly a year before they were officially published.ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:00 amI only heard that PROPEL did not use the latest UCI rule design because the project was established too early.tmrace wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:00 pmDo you have any other details or dates for those bikes?ChairmanJiang wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 9:42 amNEW MADONE

Seems strange to release a bike to the press in Jan and not available till late this year, probably after the season has finished... so really it's a 2023 bike...Kingstonian wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 2:17 pm

Novo Nordisk will be competing on it, so it makes sense to soft-launch it ahead of the race season. The lack of wider availability in 2022 is no longer surprising at this point.
