I think the Domane in light layup makes sense. Persistent rumours, and their 'OCLV 700' top model is insanely heavy.

If that is the new R5, then it's surprising they did not follow everyone else with dropped seat stays...
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.
In build: SW SL8

Neither the Emonda, nor TCR have dropped seatstays. The Aethos doesn’t. The Specialissima doesn’t...

It's funny - your comment made me realize that my perspective is too much on the Sl7, TeamMachine, Ostro, Supersix, Filante, etc...and not enough on the broader offerings (though I think the Aethos is not really intended to be a full on race bike like the R5). Very fair point.

Roglic is not a small guy, yet top tube join the seat tube below top of the rear wheel.
So, it's quite a dropped (sloped) top tube. With this amount of sloping top tube, seat stays don't have to drop much further.

Primoz is 5'9" and that frame looks more like a 51cm than anything, which makes sense for a pro of his height. A 51cm is pretty small.

With the lack of dropped stays they may be keeping it distinct from the Caledonia as much as prioritising the lightest, most efficient build.

New Cannondale SuperSix SE and CX:

Could just be repainted SuperSix EVO's with gravely components, but the SE seems to have 40mm tyres suggesting a new frame?

Anybody get a screengrab? Already taken down.

Think 33mm tyres are the max you'll get on an evo on the rear, so rear triangle must be different at least.

Sorry, didn't grab the screens

Both were specced with GRX versions and Cannondale cranks, the CX said 33mm tyres, the SE 40mm

They were popping up earlier on several online stores, atm can only find these:

https://velocollect.de/Cannondale-Super ... 17201U1046
https://www.onbikex.de/Fahrrad/Race-Can ... 38719.html
https://www.bicispina.com/carretera/482 ... 15103.html

From the 55 rake and min 40mm tire clearance they seem to replace the current SuperX. Dropped seatstay and probs hidden cables

There is a CX and an SE version, the latter probably marketed for Allroad riding, or as a Gravel racer. From experience the current SuperX is a fine machine for both.

They were expected to bring out a version of the SS Evo that could handle a wider tire / gravel duty. I can't remember when I heard it but it was a few months back and I think I posted about it here.

Looks like the rear-center is larger and the BB shell is now PF30-83 Ai, meaning rear wheels need Ai dishing to compensate for the asymmetry.

Why the SE naming convention for gravel racing, doesn't make sense to me..

Is there going to be a caad version? Updated Caadx.
