Ideally it might be a full link longer, but it’s “fine.”

No evidence of it being a mock-up to me. The slightly varying angles between the different models and the lighting/highlights suggest it was actually photographed as a complete build. Also check out the kink in the chain at the bottom of the chainring.

I like this bike very much, its different, and fresh.
But hey, i have a Propel, thats different too
I thought the exact same thing, was just about to post before checking again. I'm not sure why but it definitely looks like it's cross-chained at first.Theguy wrote:Wow my bad man, i had to check it again because i dont know why i saw that it was on the small ring. Sorry.....

Because of the axs flat-top chain. By now your mind is used to see that part of the chainring flat when in rhe big ring. However, and giving a huge evidence of the lack of components, they were able to build the bike with the wrong components (by the way, there is also a photo of ultegra or da di2 with sram rotors).Cycomanic wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 10:01 pmI thought the exact same thing, was just about to post before checking again. So for those of you still on the rim brakes, who makes a nice decent frame with these qualities?
I am looking at the specialissima, but it's $6000 for just the frame.

- 27.2 seatpost/1/1/8 stem
some aero
28mm tyres
integrated routing but nothing too crazy i.e. through handlebars
lightweight

I literally cannot think of any mainstream bike with all of those properties. The Fuji SL 1.1 and Argon 18 Gallium Pro use 27.2mm seatposts and 1-1/8" stems, but they are not aero and have minimal internal routing. Or look far and wide for an old stock Focus Izalco Max.
Yes I think you're correct. This year other than some Italian frames, there's many not for sale to the public.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 5:09 amShpox wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 4:36 amSo for those of you still on the rim brakes, who makes a nice decent frame with these qualities?

I think best case is to purchase something order, and forget aero at least. I think some 2018ish frames can fit 28s.

Pinarello Prince (FX)
Factor 02, although not very aero it meets all the other criteriaShpox wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 4:36 amSo for those of you still on the rim brakes, who makes a nice decent frame with these qualities?

Doesn’t use a 27.2mm seatpost though, which I’m betting is one of his more important criteria.
