Don't hold your breath for a new Propel anytime soon. The new Trinity is first, and has been nearly ready for about 2years now. But thanks to the pandemic it all takes it's sweet time.

I'm relying on quite surface-level google translate, but it appears that the test is targeted at the wheels rather than the bike. However, it may be done in combination.

OT: anyone know what bib tights those are? I like the design.
Next month it will be tested, future bike tested are often visible in the pictures used to illustrate other articles

What’s your source for this info? Very disappointing news for me of this is credible. I was planning on holding out for a new propel

I'm curious why it's been delayed for so long. As they are the manufacturer themselves and Taiwan has seen minimum amount of corona

Global supply chain is still screwed, and they can sell what ever they can produce of the current crop still. Might as well launch something brand new when they can actually get remotely close to satisfying anticipated demand.

Cannondale SYNAPSE 2022

Perhaps they finally abandoned BB30A.

Very similar to the outgoing design by the looks of it... "edgier" tubes, dropped stays, third bottle cage mount, bento box mount, integrated storage. Looks like it lacks full cable integration as well. Keeping the fender eyelets is nice.

There's more photos on that twitter account.

Interesting point - that account says the rear light has radar as well = competitor to the varia?

Each grade of the new "SINAPSE CARBON" has began to be introduced on the Cannondale official web site, But I still don't know anything about like VARIA and other electric devices.

1 RLE : Dura Ace Di2 12s
2 RLE : Ultegra Di2 12s
2 RL : Ultegra 11s
3L : 105 11s
4 : Tiagra 10s
LTD RLE : GRX Di2 11s

The outgoing Synapse is a fantastic bike and held up well against updated competitors. The new one seems seems like an awesome light tourer.

Dropped seatstays once more... :(

Also, why did they not integrate that battery on the downtube - it looks very bad. Other manufacturers are implementing concealed tool compartments in the downtube and Cannondale produce something that look like it is a home made.

This way they can also market the battery as a power bank for your computer or phone or camera
