Putting this here and in the Time sale thread thread.

Time will be doing their "official" post-sale re-launch sometime during the third week of August. No news on if this will include new frames. I would hope at the very least it'll include new paint schemes and some clear ones to highlight their carbon work.

Vague, but at least something to look forward to in a few weeks time.

I may have stumbled across the successor to Lightweight's Urgestalt frame

CarbonSports GmbH commissioned Slogdesign for the industrial design of this Lightweight branded frame called "RIDE." It only exists in renders for now so who knows if the design will ever enter production. Odd choice to render such a modern frame with a DA7900 crank.

Maybe it was mentioned before, but there won't be a new Venge for 2022. Crux slightly modified for 2022 and probably costs the same as a SL7 frameset.

Anything on the cube? Weird that they are not promoting it through tdf!
Wouldn't mind finding out more either. They seems awfully quite despite several riders racing it in different races already...

Isn't the Venge being phased out in lieu of the Sl7?

There was speculation that the uci slightly relaxing the aero rules would lead to a new one

Just wait and we can surely expect to see a successor to Venge.
If a company claiming aero is everything release a bike as Aethos, you must understand that they' ofcourse fill the space of Venge.
Where there is money, there is a new model is what Specialized have proven (atleast 100% obvious to me)

Venge was a more complex mould and layup, therefore higher cost. They sell all of what they produce, they probably won't bring back an aero road frame until they need to drive sales - and then I'm not sure it'll exactly be a priority. It's a rapidly diminishing sector of the market.

So far I've seen Louis Meintjes, Jan Bakelants and Loïc Vliegen ride this new model. It looks like a lightweight version of the Litening aero bike.
Hope these links work:

Wow, looks very slim. Wonder why the move away from aero. I thought their bike was already light for an aero frame.

How can it be, according to Spesh aero is all, so they should eat their BS claims. Hypoctites is what they are....
