Maybe someone can help. It does definitely look they have made their own frame and cockpit... :noidea:

S-Works SL8 (2023) 6.3kg

*weights are race ready, size 58/L.

Looks like it:

Starting at $7000 it seems.

The pricing is much in-line with other top end bikes, although just "reservations" as of now.
Loads of colors and sizes available, and apparently works for on and off road.

I am really interested in whether you can get the cockpit separately, I didn't find it yet.

It being only configurable with „old“ (2016-2018) ENVE SES-level wheels makes me think, that a new SES level product is still far away.

The fact that the frame accommodates 35c and apparently has a „custom geometry“ is very positive however.

As of now: US ONLY
That's a big minus.

I got a long-winded survey on this a month or so ago. They also asked lots of questions about non-US made wheels, factory refurb wheels and warranty periods.

Kind of refreshing to be able to spec a design process like this from crank length and cassette to color schemes and paint.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.
In build: SW SL8

Trek has offered all of this for years.
Also, any good LBS should give you the crank and cassette you want free of charge!
The freedom on paint schemes is very nice though

Actually a nice looking frameset, the fender mount on the fork is a puzzler, but I see so many dumb things done for style these days in the bike industry an ISP aero frame with fenders wouldn't surprise me. Looks like they have done like Open and made the direct mounts specifically for 160mm rotors and no spacer.

I just specked out a build with DA and SES 5.6 wheels. Came in at $12.5k. Time will tell if this is a good deal or not.

Truly configurable fit options, custom geometry and custom paint for about $500 more than the big brands seems good. US-made doesn’t really mean much in terms of quality, but it does result in higher costs (which they seem to be eating.)

if only I have $7000 to burn, I'd totally in.
It's my chance to make a bike with:
80mm bb drop -- for 165mm crank or shorter only
520mm stack, 390mm reach
71.2degree HTA, 55mm fork offset.
75degree seat tube angle

There is no way big brand would offer this kind of geometry all together in one bike.

I wonder how much of that price goes to the marketing department to pay for things such as that frame introduction page. :)

Seems like a decent deal for a custom frame. Looks like a TCR and Super Six, not bad.

It's a great deal compared to other high end road bikes. You crash your 2 day old SL7/madone/emonda/bastion/anything else that cost you 12.5k? You're SOL.
It's a boutique bike that you can race crits with without care.
