Did anyone who recieved the new bike have the wheels set up tubless? or were they set up with tubes?

Do any bikes that come with tubeless ready rims actually ship tubeless? I would think this would be more of a hassle for the bike company to set up and ship out than just using tubes.

The wheels on the one i ordered says tubless, but the tyres arent. I just wondered did they change this as most tubless wheels come set up.

Giant has been shipping bikes tubelessly for a long time as far as I know.

Giant has been shipping bikes tubelessly for a long time as far as I know.

Was about to post that I'd expect them to do. Same for bikes with matching Mavic rims and tires I suppose? (likely shipped pre-installed to the OEM integrator)

Canyon didn't supply the tubeless valves in the mesh bag that comes in the tool box?

If the tires are Tubeless compatible Canyon will normaly provide Tubeless valves

I thought so too. But no. No tubeless valves for an 8k bike on request

I think it depends which wheels the build comes from. I got tubelesvalves - reynolds wheels.

Order was missing the seatpost screw plug - yes I looked the bag. The frame has couple of stains. Maybe resin/epoxy, from seatpost fix. There was also 2 dust paricles under clear coat.

The wheels are tubless ready, but Canyon doesn't spec the bikes with tubless tires. We all got non tubless tires and tubes. Check the specs on the website of your bike, it doesn't say it comes with TR tires.

I also received the tubeless valves with my Aeroad with Reynolds wheels. Might not be the same for the DT Swiss ones

What Canyon told me is that almost all their bikes comes with tubeless ready wheelset a but none of them come setup tubeless.

Imho it's a small issue, ride the shit out of the stock tyres and when they wear out, set the next set of tyres tubeless!
