I just found a small hole drilled in the right arm of the fork of my cf slx 8, in its inner, bottom part - more or less the height on the disc caliper.

Anyone knows what this is for, except of weight saving? ;)

Went out for a ride Sunday that was in winds probably in the range of 25-30mph with stronger gusts. Bike did pretty well and I was hit with a large amount of direct cross winds. The AR 58/62 handled better than some 45-50mm wheels I have used.

Hi, after 2100km the handlebar screws of my Aeroad CF SL 8.0 have loosened. It is true that I have never checked. I had tightened the screws to 5nm as recommended. Has anyone had a similar experience? do you have any tricks to overcome this problem in the future?

You are all spending many thousands on the bike but play around with inferior lights.

Also available for the SL X lamp, and surely going to be available for the SL Nano soon.

Not sure if I would spend thousands on a light bike (7.2 kg) and then add a 360g light :noidea:

Perfect! They (and I) are still in one piece after about 2500km

Also for me. After 2500km and after a 100km rainy ride I replaced my American tape solution + grease.
The seat post presents the same situation before my solution.
So, I'm very happy. I can wait for this autumn serenely :-)

Same here, think I'm at 2500 km and no problem with the handlebars or seat post so far. Although I'm using the 3M electrical tape solution for the seat post as well and I'm a bit more careful with the handlebar than I would usually be.

No problems with the seatpost, but my CFR has developed a bottom bracket creak after ~1700 km. It's only on the right side and is very annoying. I'm planning on replacing the BB as soon as parts and tools arrive this week.
