I was asking CS here when they plan to fix the handlebar and got answer they will ask us to send back the bikes in (end of) August to fix both handlebar and seatpost.

No option for getting the parts and do it myself for me, they said i will have to send the bike back (but locally, fortunatelly, so should be faster).

Maybe we need to send back the frame... so they can transfer the groupset/parts to a new frame.

I still wonder what the seatpost fix will be. I think, for a long term fix, the frame needs to be changed.

Not sure why - have 2+ kkm on mine with no signs of wear.

Perhaps the fix will be the sleeve going into the frame and a tad narrower seat post to fit it. Anyway, we have been going circles here on this topic, no need for another one.

For me it's been over a month with no word back from Canyon since I initially sent in my warranty request. I Have messaged them a few times and haven't really gotten any answers besides they are very busy. I know that I won't be riding the bike this year anyway which is fine with me, I guess the lack of communication and uncertainty of how my situation will be rectified is annoying though.

My bike is unrideable at the moment. Not, oh the seat post could show signs of wear or the drop bars might break if the stars align just right. Like totally unridable with the frame cracked straight though in two locations. Mean while it sits boxed up and ready to be shipped back when ever they examine the photos I sent them that are apparently in Level 2 of the warranty department and send me a return slip.

Will they just send me a whole new bike with the fixes applied? Do I still get the $1200 credit? What about the newer DT Swiss wheels, are those stocked now? Can I just get a full refund?

I guess we can play spot the new fork/handlebars soon, just like spot the new Aeroad last year

Man I really feel for all the Aeroad owners. Absolutely unthinkable situation. Also feel for Canyon certainly nobody sets out to fail like this.
