the reasons I listed above were what one of the sky/ineos guys said in an interview when asked about sticking to rim brakes. I believe in late 2019.

I have 2 disc road bikes, and 3 rim at the moment. My next bike will be a F12/F14 rim brake. Shimano will produce Dura ace 12 with dual pivot brakes (and regular mount will be same as 9100 brakes but no dura ace designation, Only Shimano SLR.)

When the F12 came out, I think Pinarello could get away with aero, but not the lightest (especially disc). They could point to SL6 / Venge, Emonda / Madone, Wilier 0 / Cento10. But with the SL7, Filante, and Ostro, they really need to get to the UCI minimum on a Dogma disc. I hope they do, but based on those pictures, not sure they did.

I also agree that that Ineos probably prefers rim brake for the reasons you all stated (not weight).

I dont mean anything other then my general comment on aesthetic perferences.

Ok, for me much better a little sloping, so I can go Up to 53 io 51.5 and more stack, same seatpost distance to frame
