If the saving is mainly in the paint job, that would be very poor!
Would be good to have the option of a light bike that is painted beautifully, too.
Other brands have managed that, too 😉

Right. You can have both. Nice paint jobs don't have to weight a lot. But Pinarello's paint seems to. I'm not saying they should be raw, but that they should deploy the same paint methods that the other brands use so it doesn't add a centimeter of paint.

Their frames are already claimed ~800-850g unpainted, which is competitive. Not sure how they can save another 200g without modernizing the paint process.

This Thursday they will be announced from what the Instagram post video shows.

The video released today seems to confirm the reduced weight claim.

Has anyone's LBS indicate the actual availability of the new frameset?

So what did we learn so far from the daily release video sneak peak?
- Awesome paint job!
- Basic form and fit seem to be similar to current F12 beside the bottom bracket and seat stay area.
- Reduce weight of some sort from the -3 day video highlighting "Gravity Defied". Pinarello officially commented on their Instagram "Lightness has been redefined to help you defy gravity". I highly doubt the actual weight reduction will be as dramatic.
- Rim brake survived.
- Di2 rear derailleur direct mount is available, at least for rim brake variant.
- Minor update on ForkFlap shape? Maybe my eye is playing trick on me.

The last two videos are a little hyperbolic. My guess is that the weight savings will be modest, as you say. It still won't be the world's lightest bike. And it doesn't look much different than the F12. Still, I'm excited to see what they come up with.

The veil will be officially lifted at 3pm - which I think refers to GMT... might be CEST also, but I think it is the former.

Looks super similar. Just hope it is NOT called F14. Don't think this naming scheme works well with 14,16,18.
And hope it is sub 7 with disc brakes

Edit:
And according to this article by L'Equipe,
The name "Dogma F" Is pretty much confirmed;

That paint job is eerily similar to that of the SL7 DA.
