Great! Also looking to upgrade my shifters and keep everything else eTap 22. Is there some kind of manual for this?
SRAM supports 11spd E-Tap again

But all you need to do is update the shifter firmware to the latest version using the AXS smartphone app and then pair the components as you would normally.

Let me know if this works...zero71 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 2:25 pmMy front eTap 11 derailleur has issues. It's very low mileage, but the high limit screw seized and rounded. I tried everything to get it out, including the M3 tap trick, but it was welded in there. In the end I drilled it out and tapped it with a right hand M5 thread. Awaiting an M5 grub screw to see if that gets it back into action. It'd make me feel much better if the AXS front mech was updated to work with 11 or the FD A2 derailleur would show up.

I do wish SRAM would update the RivalAXS FD to allow pairing with any combination of AXS / eTap11speed shifters and RD. It clearly works well with larger rings, and would solve a lot of issues and earn them a lot of brownie points.
I assume this would be pretty easy to do ... but they probably don't want Force and Red eTAP 11speed users buying 'cheap' RivalAXS FDs ...

Ha, that'd be funny if it weren't true.Juanmoretime wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 11:45 amOne thing I have noticed now having spent some time on Red Etap 11 speed. I wonder how long it took the SRAM engineers to have the Red Etap tap shifetr/ brakes have the Red rattle too? If I take my hands or hand off the shifter such as to grab some food or a water bottle the shifters do rattle. FWIW I habe the Red Etap 11 speed hyrdo shifteres.
One of my red eTap mech rim shifters is normal and the other has the rattle you describe. Wonder if the normal one rattles or it's the other one?!
Quick question regarding compatibility:
Could I use a 12 speed Force or Red shifter set paired to an 11 speed etap RD and a force 12s FD? I'm not talking about tooth or capacity here, but wether the shifters will respond to two different year/version derailleurs.
I have seen the posts of people worried about their FD giving up the ghost but not really clear if the above is viable or not.
Thanks

I take it that you couldnt find a left hand tap after drilling out the bolt as it is a left hand thread originally.zero71 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 2:25 pmMy front eTap 11 derailleur has issues. I'm hoping to pair my Red Etap 11 speed derailleurs to Red Etap Axs 12 speed shifters which, if I'm reading it correctly, is now possible. Now here's the question, where in the big wide world can I buy the Red Etap Axs shifters?

No that won’t work. You cannot use an 11-speed RD with a 12-speed FD.msrNY78 wrote:Quick question regarding compatibility:
